Paul Tisdale proud as Exeter City break club away win record
Exeter City manager Paul Tisdale says he is proud of his side after they broke their record for away wins in a season with a 3-0 triumph at Morecambe.
The victory was Exeter's 10th away from home, with only second-placed Gillingham having a better record than the fourth-placed Grecians.
Exeter have been let down by their home form, winning just four times at St James' Park this season.
"I'm very proud of the 10 wins," Tisdale told BBC Radio Devon.
But Tisdale says the record means very little unless they can get more wins both home and away.
"It counts for nothing," he continued. "What really matters is where we finish in the league and how many more wins we get home or away.
"We have to take whatever positive and encouraging comments we get off the back of this with as much a pinch of salt as the negative and pessimistic views when we draw a home game.
"It's about how many wins we get in the season and where we finish, but I'm very pleased with the three points."
