Breedon denied Peter Winn's powerful drive, Waide Fairhurst's effort and Jon-Paul Kissock's free-kick - all in the first half.

Kyle Perry had the Lambs' best chance, but his effort from the edge of the area sailed over the crossbar.

Breedon frustrated the Silkmen again late on as he saved Matthew Barnes-Homer's close-range strike.
