Bradford 3-1 Aston Villa: Bantams celebrate after cup win

Bradford City fans and players are jubilant at the final whistle after beating Aston Villa 3-1 at Valley Parade in the League Cup semi-final first leg.

60 places separated League Two side Bradford City with Premier League Villa going into the match, but Nahki Wells and Rory McArdle put the Bantams 2-0 up.

Andreas Weimann pulled a goal back for the visitors, before Carl McHugh headed home to ensure Bradford take a two-goal lead into the second leg at Villa Park on 22 January, with a a trip to the final at Wembley in sight for Phil Parkinson's side.
