Truro City player-manager Lee Hodges says he is keen to keep hold of forward duo Andy Watkins and Kieffer Moore.
The duo scored all three of City's goals in their
4-3 loss at Welling on Saturday
and between them they have scored 14 goals for the Blue Square Bet South side this season.
"They're a massive part of this club," Hodges told
BBC Radio Cornwall.
"If we can keep hold of them this season, and hopefully next season, we'll have some front line there."
Moore, 18, is the club's top-scorer with nine goals while 27-year-old Watkins has got five in a troubled season for City.
They lie bottom of the Blue Square Bet South having
gone into administration last year,
and suffered a 10-point penalty and
new owners have taken over the club,
former striker Barry Hayles has re-joined Truro.
However Hodges feels that Moore and Watkins could leave if they continue to perform well.
"If they keep doing their jobs right and sticking the ball in the back of the net and causing defenders problems. then the inevitable is that we might struggle to keep hold of them."
