Aberdeen's Andrew Considine has surgery on broken leg
Aberdeen defender Andrew Considine has undergone surgery on his broken leg, manager Craig Brown has confirmed.
The 25-year-old suffered the injury during Saturday's 3-1 win against Dundee at Dens Park and is expected to miss the rest of the season.
Considine's team-mate Ryan Jack, who broke his leg in October, has returned to training.
And Brown told Aberdeen's website that it will be "a delight" to see Considine back training "in a few months".
"It was very upsetting to find that Andy had a broken leg after the game," the manager added.
"It looked very serious at the time of the accident, and it was an accident.
"Sometimes the tackle has been violent or malicious, I'm most certain it wasn't that."
