European funding for North Belfast cross-community football project

A cross-community football project in North Belfast is helping to foster new friendships.

The scheme, spearheaded by football clubs Crusaders and Newington, has been awarded £422,000 by the European Peace Fund.

Crusaders player Paul Leeman and Newington's Eamonn McCarthy say the project is helping to break down barriers and schools involved include Currie Primary School and Holy Family.
