Falkirk 2-0 Cowdenbeath

Falkirk recorded a third straight victory against visitors Cowdenbeath.

The Bairns took the lead on 33 minutes when Stewart Murdoch converted a penalty after Conor McGrandle had been fouled by Kenneth Adamson.

Lyle Taylor fired home Craig Sibbald's cross to double the hosts' advantage three minutes before the break.

Mark Ramsay's saved 65th-minute effort was Cowden's only glimpse of an opening.
