Struggling Nuneaton rode their luck but held Macclesfield to a goalless draw in the Blue Square Bet Premier.

The hosts had the better chances in the first half with both Chris Holroyd and Matthew Barnes-Homer forcing saves from Nuneaton goalkeeper Adam Smith.

Macclesfield, who have won only once in their last six league games, went close twice after the break through Waide Fairhurst.

Nuneaton almost won it late on but Lance Cronin saved from Wesley York.
