Scunthorpe United part company with coach Chris Brass
Scunthorpe United have sacked coach Chris Brass, who was assistant to former Iron manager Alan Knill.
When Knill lost his job in early November, replacement Brian Laws brought Russ Wilcox back to Glanford Park to work as his number two.
In a statement on their website, the club said the decision to let Brass go was taken to help reduce costs.
The 37-year-old, who played for Burnley and York City, previously had a spell as Knill's assistant at Bury.
