As it happened

  1. 1225:

Forget clearing your drive of snow, put down your shovel and remove your winter hat: it's time to find a warm seat and follow our live text coverage of the draw for the last 16 of the Scottish Cup.

Ten clubs are already in the hat for the fifth round, with six places still up for grabs.

  2. 1227:

With Hibs - are the bleary-eyed Easter Road fans still partying, I wonder? - sending holders and Edinburgh rivals Hearts out of the competition, the road to Hampden in May continues and a new name will be engraved on that famous Cup.

  3. 1228:

Who is already through to the last 16, I hear you ask?

    Dundee Utd

    Raith Rovers

    St Mirren

  4. 1229:

Still vying for a place in the last 16:

    Inverness CT

    Ross County

    St Johnstone

    Turriff Utd

  5. 1231:

Former Celtic and Republic of Ireland goalkeeper Pat Bonner and SFA President Campbell Ogilvie will help conduct the draw at the National Stadium.

  6. 1232:

Hearts say the £450,000 tax bill due to Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs has been paid in full.

The Edinburgh club had agreed an extension that would allow them further time to pay.

  7. 1234:

Connor Scott: "Dundee United need a derby at Tannadice and fans to support them. I'll take Dundee or St Johnstone at home."

  8. 1235:

Steve Martin: "I can see Rangers getting Arbroath here."

Ajay West: "Rangers fan, hoping for Arbroath/Celtic in draw. Hopefully at home though, Gayfield Park's a tough away trip! #bbcsportsound."

  9. 1237:

Aberdeen and Motherwell will slog it out again after Niall McGinn scored a late, late equaliser at Pittodrie.

And Arbroath striker Steven Doris knocked in a late goal to stun Celtic and ensure a replay a week on Wednesday.

  10. 1239:

From St Mirren fan Jorge in Welwyn, Garden City: "I want Rangers at home in the next round. We owe them one after the League Cup final a couple of years ago when we should have beaten them. That still hurts..."

Dennis Law, Aberdeen: "Would like Rangers at home. Need to beat Motherwell in the replay first, not an easy task!"

    Not 'THE Lawman' surely??

  11. 1241:

Mark Paterson: "Celtic need to overcome Arbroath. Maybe a derby game against Rangers will help improve the squad's performances."

Nabil_nadeem98: "Hope Turriff Utd get Dundee at home, always had a soft spot for Dundee. #bbcsportsound"

Stuart: "Once we cruise past Celtic I'd quite like Turriff away please. And while I'm wishing I'd like a pony for xmas"

Raymie Steven: "Celtic need an away day... give us Forfar or Morton/Turriff"

  12. 1243:

Ryan Fox: "CUP - love to see Hibernian get Rangers at Ibrox perhaps inflict the 3-0 hammering all over again."

Matt in Aberdeen: "Assuming we can finish off Motherwell in the replay I'd hope for the one of the lower league teams at home like Forfar or the Rangers...."

Douglas Winky "CUP - I'm not an Aberdeen fan but would love them to draw Turriff Utd."

  13. 1244:

Following the 3-0 victory over Elgin on Sunday, Rangers boss Ally McCoist said being drawn against an SPL club "wouldn't scare us".

"The main objective was to get through to the next round and be in the hat and we did that," he said.

"I wouldn't start screaming from the roof-tops that we're ready for anything but an SPL team wouldn't scare us."

  14. 1246:

Matthew Watson: "Would quite like a wee trip to Morton or Falkirk in the next round of the cup. #bbcsportsound#superkillieaway."

Ben Mitchell: "Hope Dundee United get Dundee #derby #bbcsportsound"

Martin Hart: "Raith Rovers fan here. Dundee United away would be very nice. Great stadium, great fans, great day out :) #bbcsportsound"

Fraser Stewart: "Killie to get Rangers away in the cup please, you've always got to hope for the lowest ranked team in the draw #bbcsportsound"

  15. 1249:

Craig via text to 80295 with Cup at start of message: "Celtic will beat Arbroath as their away form is solid and let's face it all Celtic fans want Rangers" Besides, Rangers would be the easiest tie for anyone."

Scott Law, Aberdeen: "Being the what feels like the only Rangers fan in Aberdeen, I'd take great satisfaction in beating them here in the granite city."

  16. 1250:

Craig Pollock: "Clear to see everyone wants to draw Rangers #theonlyshowintown #bbcsportsound"

  17. 1251:

Dumbarton and Hamilton fans will be gnashing their teeth: their fourth-round tie has been postponed for a second time because of the unforgiving cold snap.

At this rate, both managers should decide the tie with a quick game of Fifa on the Wii...

  18. 1253:

Fitzpatrick in Coventry: "Cup. As a Celtic fan I don't want to get Rangers as we can't get up for it against the wee teams!"

Chic, Paisley: "Cup. Want Morton/Turriff in the draw. Prospect of a Renfrewshire Derby would be superb. No other draw would get me excited."

Anonymous: "Cup - lots of teams looking to play Rangers in the next round to secure their financial future for the year, SPL teams included."

Dennis Law, Aberdeen: " Re: 1239. I'm afraid not. If only I had some his talent along with his name! "

Ha! You had me going there for a minute ...

  19. 1255:

Mick Reilly: "Accies fan here. Would like to see a Lanarkshire derby with a wee trip to Motherwell. #bbcsportsound"

  20. 1256:

Craig McKenzie: "An away draw to the Turra Coo for when we overcome Motherwell please. #AFC #COYR #bbcsportsound"

We'd look at that draw in "udder" disbelief. Sorry, I'll get my coat...

  21. 1258:

Marc, Edinburgh: "Pars fan here, I'd love a Fife Derby at East End Park in the next round."

Chic, Paisley: "Want Morton/Turriff in the draw. Prospect of a Renfrewshire derby would be superb. No other draw would get me excited."

  22. 1259:

Robbie Weir: "Raith fan hoping for Forfar away. Failing that the winner of Accies/Falkirk. No doubt it'll be one of the Saints.... #dull"

  23. 1301:

Come on, we're waiting! How late is fashionably late? Former Celtic and Republic of Ireland goalkeeper Pat Bonner and SFA President Campbell Ogilvie will help conduct the draw at the National Stadium.

  24. 1303:

Iain in Dundee: "United always get an away tie so would love to go up to Pittodrie and turn them over. Particularly seen as according to them they have already beaten 'Well in the replay...."

  25. 1304:

    Here we go...

  38. 1313:

Big D, Falkirk fan. "Forfar at home will do nicely! Hopefully wee trip to Hamden again. Falkirk for the cup!"

Billy in Blackpool: "Rangers to win and progress. Plus Utd get a few quid off the Gers."

Cameron in Edinburgh: "I wanted Hibs to get Turiff Utd, but I'll take our draw. Onwards and upwards. Mon the Hibees!"

  39. 1315:

Sandy Johnstone: "Raith getting Celtic, we'll beat them 2-1, as a Rangers fan, I can't see us beat United, we can give it all with the Blue Roar #bbcsportsound"

  40. 1317:

  45. 1327:

Kilmarnock v Inverness or Ross County should also be a corker. Potential for any scalps to be claimed in the last 16?
