Gateshead-Grimsby Town game called off

Grimsby Town's Blue Square Bet Premier fixture at Gateshead on Tuesday evening has been called off because of a frozen pitch.

The match was postponed following a 12:30 GMT pitch inspection at the Gateshead International Stadium.

The Mariners are second, two points behind leaders Newport County, while Gateshead are eighth, 10 points off their opponents.

No new date has been set for the fixture.
