The on-loan Bantams defender was stretchered off with a broken leg after he fell awkwardly in the first half.

Stephen Darby's high cross eventually fell to Gary Jones, who duly fired in the decisive goal from 10 yards.

Jamie Lowry drew a fine save from home goalkeeper Matt Duke as the struggling visitors searched in vain for a goal.
