Aldershot Town moved off the bottom of the League Two table with a point at AFC Wimbledon.
Loanee Dani Lopez gave the Shots the lead on the stroke of half-time with his first goal in English football.
The forward pounced when the Dons failed to clear a corner, denying former Wimbledon FC keeper Neil Sullivan a clean sheet on his debut.
Midfielder Stacy Long salvaged a point by netting 13 minutes from time with a free-kick.
The Shots remain in the relegation zone on goal difference.
VIEWS FROM THE DRESSING ROOM
AFC Wimbledon boss Neal Ardley told BBC London 94.9:
"With the performance we put up and they put up, I think it was a point gained.
"I knew it would a scrappy bottom of the table clash. I've said all week that would be a horrible game.
"I thought they did what they did very well, they're fighting for their lives."
Aldershot Town manager Dean Holdsworth told BBC Surrey:
"There's some disappointed players in there because the performance was excellent and we were a little bit peeved as we thought there was a foul on Jaime Young for their goal.
"We created a number of chances and we could've walked away with three or four goals today but Danny Lopez took his goal fantastically well.
"The performance today was really important and our fans were magnificent and I would've like to take three points but it's taken us off the bottom of the division."
