Bournemouth's fine run of form continued with victory over Doncaster, their fifth win in six league matches.
In a tight affair the only goal of the game came when Harry Arter found the bottom right corner from the edge of the area.
Both teams had chances in the second half and the home side may have had a penalty when David Syers went down in the box but no spot-kick was given.
The defeat is promotion-chasing Doncaster's second home loss in a row.
VIEWS FROM THE DRESSING ROOM:
Doncaster Rovers manager Dean Saunders tells BBC Radio Sheffield:
"I thought we played really well and it's a goalkeeping error for the goal.
"It was a blatant penalty on David Syers, he's just about to put the ball in the net and the defender's pushed him in the back. It's a blatant penalty - I've seen it again.
"And then the ball comes out to (Iain) Hume and I though he was going to score. But overall I thought we looked really good at times."
Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe told BBC Radio Solent:
"It was a really solid performance and that will hopefully go a long way to moving us forward defensively.
"He [Steve Cook] has come in and played both left-back and right-back this year and I think we all know it's not his favoured position but he does a really good job.
"We gave the ball away cheaply in the second half, but we actually saw the game out in the last 15 minutes really well. But there's plenty to still work on."
