Danny Hattersley bagged a brace as Stockport eased to victory over struggling Barrow in the Blue Square Bet Premier.

Hattersley opened the scoring from close range and his smart finish from Sean Newton's cross made it 2-0 four minutes after the break.

Matty Mainwaring sealed the win by firing into the bottom corner.

Danny Rowe grabbed a late consolation for Barrow, but this defeat leaves them only a point above the relegation zone.
