Slough Town through to FA Cup first round
Slough Town captain Dave Woozley hailed his side as they advanced through to the first round of the FA Cup.
The Southern League Division One side defeated Gosport 2-1 to make the first round for the first time since 2005 and set up a tie with Mansfield Town.
"It was a really good night and we got the result we wanted and we look forward to going up to Mansfield now," Woozley told BBC Radio Berkshire.
"It was a fantastic effort, the lads showed real character and desire."
The 32-year-old former Torquay, Oxford and Crawley defender, who is also a fireman, added: "It is a fantastic achievement for not only the players, but the fans and the people working behind the scenes."
