Yeovil Town sign Aston Villa's Daniel Johnson on loan

Aston Villa midfielder Daniel Johnson has signed for Yeovil Town on a month-long youth loan deal.

Jamaica-born Johnson left Crystal Palace to join Villa as a schoolboy.

He has yet to make a first-team appearance for his parent club but featured in all but one of their reserve-team fixtures last term.

The 20-year-old will go straight in to Gary Johnson's squad for Tuesday night's League One clash with Shrewsbury Town.
