Goalkeeper Scott Davies was Fleetwood's hero at Spotland, saving a penalty to earn a point for his side and deny Rochdale back-to-back home wins.

Davies pushed Ashley Grimes' effort onto the post after Dean Howell had bought down Bobby Grant.

He also saved from George Donnelly and Grant, while Dale keeper Josh Lillis kept out Steven Gillespie's effort.

Fleetwood's Alex Marrow was sent off for two yellow cards, but the hosts could not make the advantage count.
