Nigel Pearson: Leicester City have been consistent

Leicester City manager Nigel Pearson tells BBC East Midlands Today his side have been playing well all season and says their recent upturn in form is mainly down to taking their chances.

The Foxes have moved up to second place in the Championship table on the back of five wins from six matches, but that has not stopped mounting speculation that Harry Redknapp is being lined up to take over as boss at the King Power Stadium.

Pearson did not want to discuss his future in an interview with East Midlands Today on Thursday, but the club issued a statement backing their boss on Friday morning.
