Global advisor Shebby Singh tells BBC North West Tonight that he will not put a timescale on when the club hope to appoint a new manager.
Steve Kean resigned on Friday after 21 months at the helm, and Singh says his assistant Eric Black will be in charge for the foreseeable future.
