Di Matteo pleased with 'excellent' Chelsea performance

Roberto Di Matteo praises his Chelsea players as they beat Arsenal 2-1 at the Emirates Stadium to remain top of the Premier League table.

Striker Fernando Torres's clever finish gave visitors the lead before Gervinho equalised before the break. Di Matteo's side claimed all three points through Juan Mata's long range effort to inflict Arsenal's first defeat of the season.

Di Matteo believes "it was right to pick" captain John Terry as he decides whether to appeal the Football Association's decision to ban the defender for racially abusing QPR's Anton Ferdinand.
