Shrimpers keeper Paul Smith on the mend after concussion

Southend goalkeeper Paul Smith tells BBC Essex he has no memory of being knocked out in their recent game against Gillingham.

Smith suffered concussion in the 18th minute incident and has not yet been finally cleared to return to action.

"I had a look at the video of it a couple of days ago and I had no idea until I watched that what had actually occured," the 32-year-old says.
