Tony Pulis wants FA to introduce three-game diving ban
Stoke manager Tony Pulis wants the Football Association to ban players who dive for three matches.
Pulis accused Chelsea defender Branislav Ivanovic of "simulation" after City's 1-0 defeat on Saturday.
On Thursday, he said: "The FA should pull people up for diving and give them a three-game ban straight away.
"Ivanovic would be looking at three games, Chelsea wouldn't be too happy with him and I don't think he would be diving around any more."

"They are both dives. Ivanovic goes down like Jimmy Krankie and threw in a bit of a twist. Oscar should have had an Oscar the way he went over."
Chelsea were not awarded any penalties during the Premier League game at Stamford Bridge and Oscar was booked for diving, while Ivanovic escaped a yellow card despite going down in the box when he appeared not to be touched.
Pulis, whose defender Andy Wilkinson is serving a three-match suspension for a violent conduct, added: "They are really quick to pull people up on incidents that they think are bookable or sending-off incidents.
"We just don't think it's right and we encourage the players to be as honest as they can.
"Michael Kightly stayed on his feet [in a separate incident] and rightly so.
"We think it is the way to do it - whatever other clubs do, they do."

Angel Rangel caught 'cheating' in the box today. Well seen by the referee & Rangel was booked. No arguments from the player or his team mates, all of whom knew he'd simply tried to con everyone. Will Laudrup now take action or simply accept that Rangel tried to cheat?

Last week saw Stoke playing 'smack the Italian' who, if he'd done it, would have been sent off. Stoke has no style and the manager is contemptible but am I the only one who saw Shawcross get nudged by an Arsenal player just as he was to make that tackle on Ramsey? Ruined his timing just enough I feel. Juggling Crouch, Chelsea divers and your lucky socks; we are all trying to gain an edge.

@747 but he doesn't have to cheat, does he. Incompetence assures wrong decisions all around.
Norwich - Liverpool, a blatant penalty Bartlett on Suarez. Was the referee cheating? No, he's just a poor ref, same goes for the linesman.
The bias is obvious though. Ars-Che. If the foul on Torres happened against Utd player, it'd be given for sure by ANY of FA great refs incl. Riley.
What a joke of refs!

Why blame the ref's when its the players cheating and making it nigh on impossible? As incompetent as you may think a ref is, there is far less chance (if any) that he is cheating. Whatever happened to "honesty is the best policy".
