Reading will learn from defensive mistakes - McDermott

Brian McDermott says Reading "will learn quickly" from their defensive errors after succumbing to a 3-1 defeat by Tottenham at the Madejski Stadium.

The Royals manager explains that his side did not play well enough in the first half and, despite a bright start to the second, were unable to find their way back into the game after going behind against their "world-class" opponents.

Reading's next league match is in six days' time when they travel to the Hawthorns to face West Bromwich Albion.
