Newcastle player injured while on international duty frustrates Pardew

Newcastle manager Alan Pardew says it is "wrong" that a number of players in his squad have suffered injuries while on international duty this season.

Shane Ferguson, Fabricio Coloccini and more recently Tim Krul have had to recover from injuries sustained whilst playing for their countries.

Speaking in the wake of the independent report into the 1989 Hillsborough disaster, Pardew also believes the state of the game in England is in a "much better shape" than when he was a player in the 1980's.
