Leeds United sign Michael Tonge from Stoke City on loan

Leeds United have signed Stoke City midfielder Michael Tonge on a three-month loan deal.

The 29-year-old has only made 12 league appearances in four years for the Potters and spent time on loan at Derby, Preston and Barnsley.

He previously played under Leeds boss Neil Warnock when the duo were at Sheffield United.

Warnock told the club website:  "He knows how I play and he'll fit in well with what we have here."
