Remember these are the final round qualifiers for the 2013 Afirca Cup of Nations - the 15 winners over two legs will join hosts South Africa in the finals next January. The second legs are on the weekend of 12-14 October. One big shock already this weekend as Cape Verde beat visiting Cameroon 2-0 on Saturday.

It's still goalless in Maputo and both sides have been on the attack and had their chances - the best opportunities have fallen to hosts Mozambique. The home fans are calling for Jerry Sitoe to be taken off at half-time after he missed several chances in the opening 45 minutes.

1348:HALF-TIME Zimbabwe 3-0 Angola
Hosts Zimbabwe look in control of this tie already even though we are in effect only at quarter-time so far. Angola will need an away goal and stop the Warriors extending their lead here if they are to keep themselves in the hunt for a place at the Nations Cup next year. The BBC's Steve Vickers says that Angola are playing well but Zimbabwe have made the best of the chances that have come their way.

Morocco get things underway again in Maputo and neither side has made any changes and the home fans are booing their own player Jerry Sitoe who they blame for letting down his teammates in the first-half.

In thirty minutes time DR Congo are due to take on Equatorial Guinea and the Leopards' coach Claude LeRoy is confident that his squad can get a win now he has persuaded both Yousouf Mulumbu and Dieumerci Mbokani to return to action.

He says that the experienced strikers of Manucho and Djalma whe came on as second-half substitutes both looked dangerous. I guess the headlines in Zimbabwe tomorrow will be something like "Brilliant Billiat."

Some news of the 2013 Nations Cup hosts South Africa. They will not be replacing Dino Ndlovu or Benni McCarthy for their friendly against Mozambique on Tuesday. The duo were both injured in Bafana Bafana's 1-0 loss to Brazil in Sao Paulo on Friday evening. England-based midfielder Kagiso Dikgacoi has also been released to return to Crystal Palace, leaving coach Gordon Igesund with 21 players to work with.

Dieumerci Mbokani, who plays in Belgium for Anderlecht, finally makes DR Congo's pressure tell as he finds the target for the Leopards. That's a second goal for Mbokani since he returned to the squad in June after a 14-month absence, he also scored against Togo in a 2014 World Cup qualifier from the penalty spot.

Striker Deo Kanda is on target - he is in rich vein of form at the moment - he scored for his club TP Mazembe in the Africa Champions League against Al Ahly a few days ago. He breaks into the Equatorial Guinea area and is to strong for the defence as he doubles the lead for the hosts.

The DR Congo team are also US$200,000 better off after that win as the TP Mazembe President, Moise Katumbi, is reported to have promised the team US$50,000 for each goal.

Ugly scenes in Casablanca as players and officials from Libya and Algeria get involved in a brawl. A lot of pushing and shoving. The game itself hadn't been marred by too many bad tackles.
The Algeria goal in the 87th minute was scored by Hillel Soudani, who plays in Portugal for Vitoria de Guimaraes.

Guinea will be happy to take a 1-0 lead to Niamey for the second leg in October but Niger will feel they can turn this one round - they beat Egypt, Sierra Leone and South Africa at home as they qualified for the Africa Cup of Nations earlier this year.
