Aaron Lennon signs a new four-year deal at Tottenham

Tottenham winger Aaron Lennon has signed a new four-year contract, keeping him at the club until 2016.

Lennon, 25, has made 270 first-team appearances and scored 25 goals since joining Spurs from Leeds in 2005.

He made his international debut in 2006 and has represented England 19 times, although his last cap came in 2010.

Tottenham were busy in the transfer window, signing Gylfi Sigurdsson, Jan Vertonghen, Emmanuel Adebayor, Mousa Dembele, Hugo Lloris and Clint Dempsey.

However, Luka Modric and Rafael van der Vaart left White Hart Lane, for Real Madrid and Hamburg respectively.
