Bury striker Andy Bishop joins Wrexham on loan

Wrexham have signed striker Andy Bishop from Bury on loan until 2 January.

The 29-year-old will link up with the Dragons on Saturday and could play against Blue Square Bet Premier leaders Newport County.

Wrexham hope to have received international clearance by then for Bishop to make his debut in the Welsh derby match at the Racecourse Ground.

Bishop has been at Gigg Lane since 2006, making 216 appearances and scoring 65 goals.
