Danny Rose: Tottenham defender joins Sunderland on loan
Tottenham defender Danny Rose has joined Sunderland on loan for the rest of the season.
Rose, 22, represented Team GB at the London Olympics but has not made a league appearance for Spurs under Andre Villas-Boas.
He played 20 games for the north London club in all competitions last season.
Rose is Martin O'Neill's fifth Sunderland signing, joining Carlos Cuellar, Louis Saha, Steven Fletcher and Adam Johnson.
