Inverness: Nick Ross awaits news of shoulder surgery
Inverness Caledonian Thistle midfielder Nick Ross hopes to know within 24 hours whether he will require surgery after dislocating his shoulder.
The 20-year-old will visit a specialist after picking up the injury in the 4-2 weekend defeat by Celtic.
Caley Thistle manager Terry Butcher said: "He's in very good hands, but it's disappointing for him.
"It's his first major injury in football. He came in and was looking good at that stage."
Ross has made 84 appearances for Inverness but was making his first start of the season on Saturday.
"We will see what the specialist says and go on his report and recommendation," added Butcher.
"If he does require an operation, he's in very good hands here. If not, his recuperation will be a lot quicker."
