Braintree Town sign up striker Dan Holman

Blue Square Bet Premier side Braintree Town have signed striker Dan Holman from Histon for an undisclosed fee.

The 22-year-old joined Blue Square Bet North side Histon from Long Buckby at the start of last season and went on to score 29 goals.

Iron manager Alan Devonshire told the club website:  "Dan's a player we've long admired and he knows where the back of the net is.

"I am confident he will fit in well with us."
