Michael Laudrup not getting carried away by Swansea's start
Swansea manager Michael Laudrup has refused to get carried away despite his side's perfect start to the season.
First-half goals from Angel Rangel and Michu and a third from Danny Graham in the second half secured an impressive victory over the Hammers.
"To start with two wins is great. We know things will not always be like that," said Laudrup.
"I said last week there will be bad days, bad weeks and even a bad month.
"But what you've got, nobody can take it away from you. It's already there."
Swansea have now scored eight goals in their opening two games and are yet to concede.
“I love the way Swansea plays... Respect.”
And Laudrup said it was important Swansea maintained the attractive brand of football which has won them many admirers during recent seasons.
"The fans always enjoy it when you win but I think they have a style here that's created and we just continued that this season," said the former Denmark striker.
"[There] were some small changes with tactics but overall it's the same way we want to play, like Swansea did in the last four or five years."
Laudrup praised midfielder Leon Britton and said the former West Ham midfielder plays a crucial role in Swansea's side.
"He and his position is very, very important," Laudrup said.
"You always see the ones that scores the goals or saves the goals but the team is very important.
"One of the most important things, because we have a lot of small players, is to move the ball around and take good positions. Leon is very good at that.
"He always finds that position in front, not too close but not too far from the two centre-backs and Jonathan [de Guzman] and the other midfielders.
"It's very important that position because if he gets far away from either one or the other part then we have problems."
