Rochdale secured their first win of the season with a comfortable victory over bottom side Barnet.

Dale midfielder Ashley Grimes opened the scoring when he got on the end of George Donnelly's scuffed free kick and poked past Bees keeper Graham Stack.

Dele Adebola extended the lead just after the half hour when he diverted Matt Pearson's low shot home.

Andy Yiadom's cross hit the woodwork for Barnet while Jake Hyde forced a save from home keeper Josh Lillis.
