Matthew Barnes-Homer scored twice as Macclesfield made it four wins from five with victory over Barrow.

The summer signing opened the scoring when he curled home a shot from John Paul Kissock's defence-splitting ball.

Adam Boyes headed just wide as Barrow looked for a way back, although keeper Danny Hurst had to be alert to deny Jack Mackreth a second for Macc.

And Barnes-Homer sealed it for the Silkmen in injury time when he finished at the second attempt.
