Paul Clayton's brace helped Alfreton achieve their first league win of the season with victory at Barrow.

Despite dominating the opening stages, Barrow fell behind when Josh Low's free-kick was powered home by Clayton.

Ben Tomlinson's strike then doubled the visitors' advantage, before Clayton tapped home Tomlinson's blocked effort for his second of the match.

The Reds did grab a consolation goal through Adam Boyes's neat finish, but were unable to get back into the game.
