Two-goal Miguel Llera scored an injury-time winner against Millwall to extend Sheffield Wednesday's unbeaten run under boss Dave Jones to 17 games.

Owls winger Jermaine Johnson put the hosts ahead, before James Henry and Liam Trotter struck for the Lions.

Defender Llera levelled from close range, and then pounced on a rebound in the area to secure the points.

The result saw Sheffield Wednesday move into second place in the table upon their return to the Championship.

Millwall midfielder Henry had already pulled a shot wide when well-placed before Johnson fired in from the edge of the penalty area.

The lead was to last until 10 minutes before the interval as Henry converted a low cross from striker Andy Keogh.

Trotter then silenced the home crowd with a carbon-copy finish from defender Alan Dunne's centre.

Wednesday laid siege on Millwall's goal in the second half and finally broke through after the hour mark as Llera grabbed his first.

The game was heading towards a stalemate before the Spaniard reacted quickest to Karleigh Osborne's block.

Sheffield Wednesday manager Dave Jones:

"I thought the first half for half an hour we were superb and then we sort of took our foot off the gas and allowed them to come back into it.

"I thought we gave away two really sloppy goals on our part but they went in 2-1 in front at half-time and probably deservedly so because we'd stopped hurting them.

"I thought Chris O'Grady coming on probably turned it for us, he rattled them and I can't fault any of them. I thought it was a fantastic fight back and fantastic three points for us."

Millwall manager Kenny Jackett:

"I didn't think it was a free kick on (Chris) O'Grady from Karleigh Osborne for the (third) goal, I thought it was a fair challenge.

"I thought the goal that Keogh scored in the second half, the referee has given that free-kick very quickly.

"There was a lot of pressure on the referee today from a very passionate crowd. I think that Sheffield Wednesday have got two very good wide men and they have a lot of power from free kicks."
