Gateshead came from a goal behind to beat Stockport County in the Blue Square Bet Premier at Edgeley Park.

The home side took a first-half lead against the run of play when Joe Connor struck in the 34th minute.

But Gateshead turned it around in the space of 11 second-half minutes thanks to Ryan Donaldson's low shot and Michael Cummins's smart header.

Donaldson was then sent off for a tough tackle on Alex Kenyon, but Gateshead held on for the three points.
