Brentford cruised to a comprehensive win over Crewe.

Clayton Donaldson opened the scoring with an unstoppable angled drive and Farid El Alagui made it two after a defensive error.

El Alagui got his second with a close-range finish from Shaleum Logan's cross before Mathias Pogba pulled one back from Byron Moore's centre.

Harlee Dean powered home a header and Donaldson completed the scoring against his former club with a deflected drive.

Brentford manager Uwe Rosler told BBC London 94.9:

"I think the way we started the game, we were very concentrated, we did exactly what we should do, we were very clinical.

"After the first goal and the second goal the confidence raised.

"I think the first 30 minutes was one of the best 30 minutes I have seen at Griffin Park since I have been here.

"Today we had 18 attempts on goal, only five were off target and that is a fantastic statistic for us.
