Dunfermline 0-1 Partick Thistle

Partick Thistle made it two wins from two with a hard-fought victory away at Dunfermline.

A 24th-minute goal from Steven Lawless gave the visitors all three points to keep them third in the table.

Ryan Thomson went close for the hosts in the 14th minute, but his 20-yard effort flew just the wrong side of Scott Fox's upright.

Partick took the lead when Lawless collected Chris Erskine's pass inside the penalty area and he tucked his effort past Paul Gallacher.

Andy Kirk had a late chance to level for Dunfermline but Fox did well to hold his left-footed strike from the edge of the area.
