Barrow sign ex-Macclesfield striker Vinny Mukendi

Barrow have signed former Macclesfield striker Vinny Mukendi on an initial five-month deal.

The 20-year-old was released by the Silkmen in June with 70 professional appearances to his name in all competitions, scoring eight goals.

He enjoyed two loan spells at the Bluebirds' divisional rivals Southport during his time at the Moss Rose.

Meanwhile winger Ben Hoskin, nephew of assistant boss Ashley Hoskin, has moved to Holker Street on non-contract terms.
