Rochdale sign Ian Craney & Ray Putterill on non-contract terms

Ian Craney and Ray Putterill have joined Rochdale on non-contract terms.

Midfielders Craney, 30, and 23-year-old Putterill both played under Dale boss John Coleman at Accrington Stanley.

The pair have been training with the first team throughout the summer and travelled with the squad for their pre-season camp in Austria.

Rochdale, who signed veteran striker Dele Adebola on Tuesday, begin the new season with a Capital One Cup tie against Barnsley on Saturday.
