Forest Green Rovers recorded their first win of the new Blue Square Bet Premier season against AFC Telford.

Rovers took an early lead when Jamie Collins supplied Aarran Racine, who headed home from close range.

Telford's misery continued when Chris Blackburn turned the ball into his own net to make it 2-0 to the visitors.

The Bucks gave themselves hope through Nathan Rooney, whose shot was tipped round the post by Sam Russell, but they failed to find an equaliser.
