Nuneaton Town snap up former Watford defender Tom James
Newly-promoted Nuneaton Town have made defender Tom James their eighth summer signing after his release by Watford.
Left-back James, 23, made a surprise move up nine divisions to Vicarage Road from Stratford Town last summer, initially on a short-term deal.
But, after a six-month extension in January, he was released in May after making just one appearance.
"We are delighted to have agreed a deal with Tom to join us" said Boro chairman Ian Neale.
"He is a very confident and capable player with a great left foot who can provide great delivery either from open play or set pieces."
