Jack Midson signs new AFC Wimbledon deal
AFC Wimbledon striker Jack Midson has signed a new contract with the League Two club.
The 28-year-old was the subject of a transfer bid from Rotherham in May after scoring 20 goals in 52 appearances for the Dons last season.
Midson said: "It is quite flattering when there is interest in you, but my main aim was to stay at Wimbledon.
"It would have had to have been a massive offer for me to go. I am happy to stay at this club."
He added: "The support from the fans, the staff and everyone at the club helped me do so well in my first season here.
"We had to get a few things sorted out, but I am glad that the contract is done now as I wanted it sorted before the start of pre-season training."
