Craig Thomson to take charge of Scottish Cup final
Euro 2012 referee Craig Thomson will take charge of the Scottish Cup final between Hearts and Hibernian.
Thomson will be assisted by Derek Rose and Alistair Ross on 19 May, with Willie Collum as fourth official.
The same team will officiate at the European Championship finals in Poland and Ukraine this summer.
Thomson was due to referee last month's final Old Firm derby of the season between Celtic and Rangers but withdrew for family reasons.
He was replaced with Calum Murray for the match won 3-0 by newly crowned Scottish Premier League champions Celtic.
Thomson, a solicitor born in Paisley, has been a Fifa referee since 2003.
Hearts set up an all-Edinburgh final by defeating Celtic 2-1.
Hibs had defeated Aberdeen by the same score 24 hours earlier.
