Villa boss praises work ethic after West Brom draw

Aston Villa manager Alex McLeish says his players "gave everything" and praises their "fantastic attitude" following a hard-fought 0-0 draw at West Midlands neighbours West Brom .

The former Rangers and Birmingham boss singles out returning defender Richard Dunne as "immense" after the Irish international declared himself fit to play following a shoulder fracture sustained during Villa's defeat to Manchester City in February .

McLeish insists he is "going to fight" to keep Villa in the Premier League, with just three points separating them from the drop zone and two games remaining.
