AFC Wimbledon finished off their season with an impressive victory over promoted Shrewsbury.

The hosts took the lead immediately after half-time when Byron Harrison slotted home Billy Knott's ball which had been parried by Chris Neal.

Luke Moore's volley made it 2-0 before Shane Cansdell-Sherriff pulled one back for the Shrews in a goalmouth scramble.

But Moore made sure the Dons ended on a high as he latched onto Knott's through-ball to net his second.

AFC Wimbledon boss Terry Brown told BBC London 94.9:

"I am really pleased, delighted that this win will last us two months now.

"There are certain wins, like the first win of the season, that we waited two and a half months for, and this last game especially at home on the back of a spanking at Barnet, which are great.

"The players wanted to repay the fans today and they did it, they worked really hard.

"The goals were good and I thought we played well today."
