Arsenal captain Robin van Persie scores a stunning stoppage-time winner to give the Gunners a dramatic 2-1 victory over Liverpool at Anfield in March.

The Dutch striker has been named the Football Writers' Association Footballer of the Year , voted for by around 400 football journalists, the second time his achievements have been recognised in three days after he was awarded the Professional Footballers' Association Player of the Year prize on Sunday.

The 28-year-old has scored 38 times this season, including 34 goals in all competitions for Arsenal.
