AFC Wimbledon struck late to dent Torquay United's hopes of automatic promotion from League Two.
Rene Howe curled an effort just wide of the post for the Gulls in the first half, while Billy Knott's curling free-kick bounced wide at the other end.
Sammy Moore's shot was diverted wide for the Dons after the break, but they did go ahead when Rashid Yussuff slotted home from close range.
And George Moncur bent in a fine effort past Robert Olejnik to seal the win.
The Gulls are now in fourth place, one point behind Crawley with just two games remaining.
Wimbledon find themselves in 16th place, three points behind Bristol Rovers.
VIEWS FROM THE DRESSING ROOM
Torquay United manager Martin Ling told BBC Radio Devon:
"I think it was a nervous performance, we could only name three or four players today that performed to their potential.
"In both 18-yard boxes today, they were better than us.
"There has been an awful lot of substitutions this year that have worked, but today there were some that didn't.
"It is out of our hands now, we need to get more points than Crawley to get that third spot. It's as simple as that."
